Terms & Conditions
1. Preamble
This website, https://www.thebikesnob.com, is operated by The Bike Snob Pte. Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Bike Snob Pte. Ltd. c/o The Bike Snob.
By making a reservation or purchase, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms & Conditions”, “Terms”). These Terms also apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the site or making a reservation/purchase. By making a reservation or purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the Terms herein, then you may not access the website or make any reservation or purchase.
The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
2. Reservation
While highly unlikely, we reserve the right to cancel a reservation at any time, and in such event, all deposits received shall be refunded to the purchaser in full without further liability on us.
3. Bicycle condition
All bicycles are sold in a BNIB (Brand New In Box) condition which have been factory assembled, save for the saddle, and sometimes pedals, bell, reflectors, and other small parts.
As with any bicycle, it’s not possible to guarantee that the bike will ride correctly out of the box. A bicycle is a mechanical device comprising thousands of parts and components. A fair amount of assembly is performed by hand, and therefore human errors are possible. Not least to say too, shipping and handling can knock things around. It’s not uncommon for them to need a little adjustment and tightening. You are advised to have the bike inspected by a qualified mechanic before use.
4. Photos and images
All photos and images of the bicycles shown on this website or sent to you are for illustrative purposes only and may not be an exact representation of the product because we replenish stock from time to time, and the manufacturer reserves the right to change any specification of the same model without prior notice. Therefore, spec variations from one production batch to another are not uncommon. This is because there are thousands of parts and components in a bicycle and to optimize production supply chain, many of these components are sourced from two or more suppliers. Therefore, all bikes that roll out of the factory are not the same like for like, part for part, despite bearing the same model. Furthermore, for avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise stated in writing, all Brompton bicycles come in their base specification without a front carrier block, battery lightings, and rack. Do note that certain specifications that you might see on the Brompton online store showing the inclusion of a front carrier block or battery lighting (this for example) do not apply because they pertain only to Brompton eCommerce store sales and do not represent the base spec of the bicycle model.
5. Prices & offers
While we make every effort to maintain current and accurate prices in our online catalog, inventory or pricing errors may occur, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel any orders due to mistakes or discrepancies in price or stock status, or reasons outside of our control that increase the cost of the product. If a cancellation of any of such nature occurs after your payment has been received, we will promptly issue a refund for the amount in question. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience such mistakes may create. Please bring any errors you find to our attention. Thank you! All offers are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or updated without notice.
6. “As is” sale
The bicycle is sold “as is, where is” and The Bike Snob expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This does not, in any way, affect the terms of any warranties applicable from Brompton.
7. Non-refundable and non-exchangeable
Reservations and purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, whether in part or in whole.
8. Instalment purchase
You can choose to pay with our instalment payment plan, however price adjustments will apply to cover fees charged by our finance providers. Unfortunately we're unable to absorb these costs as our merchandise has already been discounted. Instalment payment approvals are subject to the approval of our finance providers and we cannot guarantee you'll get approved. The credit limit you're given is also outside our control. It is determined by our finance providers and approvals vary from person to person. In some instances, the customer is required provide a higher downpayment. Therefore should your application fall through despite having booked the bike, we are unable to issue any refund of the deposit paid.

10. Personal health and physical condition
